Simulator walk - medical trainer for walking, domestic development. Designed for rehabilitation (kinesitherapy) with paresis, paralysis of lower limbs, cerebral palsy and other movement disorders, after traumas and diseases of spinal cord and brain.
Set basic thoracic supports for patients with spinal cord injuries affecting upper body, at the cost of the simulator is not included. It can be purchased in addition to the simulator walk for an additional fee.
The main advantage of the simulator is that it reproduces the process of walking even if the patient can‘t move independently. While other simulators only support person, simulator walk engine generates a habit of keeping the feet correctly. The structural elements move simultaneously, maintaining adynamic limbs in the correct position.
The principle of operation of the simulator walk is that the patient is using both hands (or at least one) sets in motion the mechanism that moves the lower limbs, mimicking the process of walking. The vertical position of the torso is held a special stabilization system. Thoracic and lumbar support has two positions - hard, if you want strong hold, and movable, allowing the patient to do rotational movements with the pelvis to form the right walking stereotype.
If the patient‘s arm is also stationary or slow-moving, mechanism can be operated by medical personnel or by any accompanying person.
The result of training on the simulator of the walk is a passive study of the muscles and joints of the legs, and exercise the muscles of the upper shoulder girdle, back and abdomen, overall toning. The effect of the patient is comparable with the effect of ski walking for the athlete - are utilized almost all the muscles, to a greater or lesser extent.
The simulator can be made of different colors.
The simulator is available in two versions: child (4-12 years) and adult. A children‘s version is additionally equipped with height adjustable feet. The front of each trainer has a removable table, which can put a laptop or book.
