Currently, the University has broad rights in the field of book publishing. Published annually from 60 to 100 titles of publications of different types total capacity from 500 to 1000 account and publishing leaves: journals, monographs, and collections of scientific works, conference materials and abstracts of conferences, and courses of lectures, and tutorials, and workshops, and workbooks, guidelines, and programs etc.

The University is the founder of 5 of the following journals:

"Bulletin of Ryazan state University named for S. A. Yessenin";
"Modern S. A. Yessenin exploration";
"Psychological-pedagogical search";
"Differential equations";
"Foreign languages in higher school".
Publishing center brings together two areas of the book business – publishing and printing.
