Preschool educational establishment No. 71 was established on the basis of decision No. 17 dated 05.10. 1961 the administration of the Mining plant named after A. M. Gorky.
On the instructions of the Sevastopol City State administration No. 1362 dated 09.07.2001 of the year pre-school educational institution was transferred to municipal property.
Preschool educational establishment No. 71 renamed in preschool educational institution of communal property No. 71, hereinafter referred to as "preschool", in accordance with the decision of the Sevastopol city Council No. 753 dated 24.10.2002, the abbreviated name of the institution: DUO No. 71.
The preschool institution has the specialization priority education and training of children in the Ukrainian language on the basis of the order of Gwain No. 465 dated 17.06.2003. In the pre-schools functioning in the spec.group No. 4 the priority of training and education in the Ukrainian language.
Based on the decision of the Sevastopol city Council from 30.11.2010 № 21 created Sevastopol municipal preschool educational establishment No. 71 of the Sevastopol city Council. Short name: DNZ No. 71.
